Tharun Ganapathi Raman is a passionate software engineer with more than 3 years of significant experience in building software applications. Tharun has worked as a Technical Support Specialist at George Washington University, where he developed and managed the back-end service for control, configuration, and management of endpoint devices control system software with intuitive user interfaces to support over 800 technology-enhanced classrooms, labs, and conference rooms on the Foggy Bottom, Mount Vernon, and Virginia Science and Technology campuses. Previously, Tharun worked as a Software Engineer at Ideas2IT, where he built feature-rich, high-performance, robust cloud-based software applications in domains such as healthcare, EdTech, etc. in a fast-paced development environment with extensive agile development methodology experience. He supervised and worked on applications in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to test-driven development and deployment and maintenance of low-latency microservices handling over 100,000 daily requests. Tharun collaborated with multiple teams to provide technical expertise solutions on complex technical problems with a solid understanding of SDLC, OOPS design patterns, distributed system designs, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
